Second Saturday at Dock Space Annex

Two abstract painters will showcase their art at Dock Space Annex this October. Come see us the evening after the annular eclipse in San Antonio’s Lone Star Art District. 6-9 pm Saturday, October 14th.

Stan Unser is a retired military physician living in San Antonio, Texas, actively creating artwork since 2016. His work has won multiple awards and is displayed across the U.S. and southern Texas. Inspired by images, he uses digital adjustment, photo transfer, and over painting to present his story. Combining abstract and figurative elements he also seeks some ambiguity to invite viewers to create their own story.

Zan Lee Duroy is an anarchist at heart and it shows in her creative process. Completely self-taught, she enjoys experimenting with different media and techniques. Using unorthodox methods lends a whimsical touch to her abstract paintings, which are often inspired by far away lands and fairy tales.
