Sizzling Hot Exhibit for July's Second Saturday at Dock Space Annex with JJ Barrington

Dock Space Annex will be hot this summer with the work of JJ Barrington Me and My Muse: The Cell Phone Series. Having a grandmother who “played with a camera,” a mother who worked with ceramics, and a husband who makes fantastic metal sculptures, JJ Barrington has been given encouragement and access to art in a variety of ways. She expresses her art primarily with a camera, but this recent work was captured with a cell phone. Me and My Muse: The Cell Phone Series reveals photos of her muse taken during trips in far off locales like Italy and closer to home in Texas. On the walls of Dock Space Annex they feature sizzling scenes sure to add to the heat this July and August. Opening Saturday, July 8th from 6-9 pm during the Second Saturday Artwalk in the Lone Star Art District. The show will be up through August and the gallery is open by appointment.
