SOLI Contemporary Music Open Mic

Have you been toiling away at your instrument, waiting for your moment to shine? Are you a fan of modern music? If YES, then here’s your opportunity!

You can be a part of our evening, as either a soloist or as part of your own ensemble. The only rules are that the music you perform must fit in with a ‘traditional’ SOLI program. That means your music should be:

• Written within the past 75 years (between 1944-2019)
• Through-composed (i.e.: originally written down, not improvised)
• Primarily acoustic in nature (limited amplification)
• 5-7 minutes in length, so we can accommodate as many performers as possible
