Sounds of San Anto: A Celebration

Join us for an evening of live music and reminisces of the venues, artists, and fans who shaped San Antonio’s music scene. Free and open to the public.

This special event will celebrate “The Sounds of San Anto,” a digital music project honoring the vibrant and ever-evolving San Antonio music scene.
“Sounds of San Anto” is an inclusive, community-driven effort to document the music history of the 210 and beyond.

To connect generations of music lovers, the project features:• An interactive map with 40+ years of San Antonio concert history• A retro-style message board where the community can share stories and memories• A reimagining of a classic corrido with a modern twist• Memories of Music Places, an oral history series reflecting on the venues that shaped our city’s sound

At this event, we’ll share a first look at a highlight reel of our 30 plus oral histories collected from the community and celebrate with live music from some incredible San Antonio artists.
