Teatro Audaz kicks off new season with play in celebration of Dia de los Muertos

Man of the Flesh, by Octavio Solis opens on October 28th and runs through November 2nd (Dia de los Muertos). Directed by Holly Nanes.

Man of the Flesh is a modern comic adaptation of the first Don Juan play, The Trickster of Seville. Juan is dispatched by his father who owns Pronto Lawn and Garden to work off his sins of the flesh. But at the Downey estate, on the eve of Day of the Dead, he meets the love of his life. But contrary to all the women before her, Anna Downey spurns him. He is determined to declare his love to her, even if he has to seduce all the women of the house to get near her.

Performances will take place Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2pm at the The Cellar Theater at The Public – 800 W. Ashby Pl San Antonio, TX 78212. Please join us on November 2nd for a special preview performance by Ballet Flokorico Sol de San Antonio!
