Texas Dimensional: Fine Art in Three Dimensions

TEXAS DIMENSIONAL OPENS IN SAN ANTONIO JANUARY 6

Collaborative artists Andre and Virginia Bally are curating a statewide showcase of fine art in three dimensions called Texas Dimensional. This invitational exhibition is sponsored by The San Antonio Art League and Museum (SAALM). Inspired by the huge success of Art in 3 Dimensions, which they curated in 2015 for Centro Cultural Azatlan, this invitational exhibition will feature Texas artists in various 3D media including clay, glass, wood, fiber and metal. The exhibit will run from January 3rd through February 17th, 2023, at SAALM.

The Ballys, in collaboration with SAALM, will create a curator’s catalog featuring each artist’s biography and artist statement with images of their work. Among the 37 featured artists are Danville Chadbourne (San Antonio), Roy Hanscom, Sherry Tseng Hill, and Joe Haden (Houston), and Lilly Lerner (Kerrville).
