The African Market: A Creative Arts Festival

The African Market is a one-day celebration of emerging creative arts coming from West Africa and beyond. The Olaju Art Group in collaboration with DreamWeek 2017 is presenting a fully-interactive installation which introduces participants to various elements of contemporary African arts and culture. This exclusive event features fine arts, Nigerian cuisine, live music, and local vendors selling African-inspired items.

The African Market will include:

• A photo exhibition featuring three emerging photographers
• A runway presentation of African fashion designs
• Nigerian cuisine served in a pop-up restaurant
• An Afro-Beat Party Mix hosted by DJ Rocard

Proceeds from sales will benefit the Olaju Art Group, a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization and its affiliated artists in promotion of contemporary African arts and culture.
