Woodlawn Theatre presents The Color Purple the Musical live on stage at the historic Woodlawn Theatre from September 30th through October 23rd. Performances are on Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 pm and Sundays at 3 pm.
Woodlawn Theatre is bringing The Color Purple the Musical to the main stage this fall. This musical adaptation of Alice Walker’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel (and the popular 1985 Steven Spielberg film) spotlights Celie, a downtrodden young woman whose personal awakening over the course of 40 years forms the arc of this epic story.
