Tis the Seasonal

As a part of its ongoing “Brewing Up Texas” exhibit, the UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures presents a program on home brewing, seasonal beers and why certain beers are brewed or enjoyed during the winter.

The 21+ event is sponsored by Shiner and GLI Distributors, featuring samples from Southerleigh, Busted Sandal and Shiner. Members of the San Antonio Cerveceros home-brewing guild will be available to offer guidance on brewing your own beer.

The institute’s player piano will provide the entertainment for the evening, along with docents and educators available to guide tours through the Brewing Up Texas exhibit and around the main exhibit floor.

Regular museum hours will be extended to 8 p.m. and ‘Tis the Seasonal is included with regular admission.
