Tuesday Musical Club Presents Duo Pianists Olga and Vladislav Kern

Russian-American pianist Olga Kern is now recognized as one of her generation’s great pianists. Her historic Gold Medal win at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition was the first woman to do so in thirty years. She is piano faculty of the Manhattan School of Music, and is the Virginia Arts Festival’s Connie & Marc Jacobson Director of Chamber Music.  Pianist, composer and poet Vladislav Kern is the winner of international competitions including Turec-Bach International Piano Competition and Price Rubin International Competition.  His collaborations include Vladimir Spivakov, Leonard Slatkin, Roberto Minczuk, Sebastian Lang-Lessing, Jindong Cai, Giancarlo De Lorenzo and Michael Morgan.
