Join the San Antonio Public Library and Melaneyes Media on Tuesday, June 6 at 6 p.m. at Central Library for a screening of the locally-produced film “Understanding Juneteenth.” This documentary highlights the history of Emancipation Day as a holiday and how it has been recognized and celebrated throughout the years in America. The film was produced by Aundar Ma’at and directed by Born Logic Allah. A Q&A will follow the screening.
