University of Salamanca and its 800 year Legacy (Lecture in Spanish)

Founded in 1218, it is one of the oldest universities in the world. From the sixteenth century, it played a leading role in the processes of organization of the new Spanish territories in America, becoming the alma mater of the universities of the New World. Among its illustrious professors are Fray Luis De León and Miguel de Unamuno.
