UTSA Winterlude

The UTSA Lyric Theatre presents its live musical production of Jeremy Beck’s Chloe and the Magical Christmas Forest, featuring UTSA Dance and Stafford Elementary School Visual and Performing Arts members. Directed by Dr. William McCrary, this modern hybrid opera/musical tells a heartwarming tale that explores the true meaning of Christmas and giving. The double-header also presents a festive performance from the UTSA Jazz Ensemble, featuring fun renditions of holiday classics everyone loves!

Closing out Winterlude with a grand finale of merry tunes and jolly spirits is the UTSA Holiday Band! Directors Ron Ellis, John Zarco, and Hector Garcia lead this large assembly of musicians from all three major UTSA wind and concert band ensembles. Enjoy a rousing night of holiday favorites such as “Feliz Navidad,” “Happy Holiday/White Christmas,” “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” and “Sleigh Ride.”
