VIVA Poesía: Palabra, Musica, y Cultura

This year’s theme is “Dale Shine A La Luz,” a celebration focusing on light, harmony, community healing, peace, and good vibes.  Featuring presentations and performances from three of S.A.’s top spoken-word artists, San Antonio’s Poet Laureate Andrea ‘Vocab’ Sanderson, and music by the amazing Agarita Chamber Players Ensemble, this seventh-annual extravaganza will broadcast directly from the Mission Marquee Plaza Facebook page and the World Heritage Office YouTube channel on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at 7:00 p.m.   Commissioned work from highly-acclaimed photographer Sarah Brooke Lyons will provide cutting-edge scenic texture for the show, which will include community submissions of artwork and visual poetry curated by artist and educator Terry Ybañez.  The event will be emcee’d by Anthony The Poet.  Watch online on the Mission Marquee Plaza Facebook page (@missionmarqueeplaza) or World Heritage Office YouTube channel (@worldheritagesa)
