Voices of Israel

Led by conductor Yaakov (Yankale) Rotner, and world renowned Cantor Yaakov Motzen, the 16-voice choir brings together the best of cantorial, operatic and traditional Hebrew compositions. The Ensemble’s members regularly perform in concert halls, synagogues, and stages in Israel and across the globe, often accompanied by leading cantors and orchestras.

Conductor Yaakov Rotner has composed and adapted hundreds of cantorial and Hasidic songs combined with various genres such as opera, Broadway musicals and jazz.

Cantor Motzen, has held major cantorial positions in Israel and performed on Voice of Israel Radio and Television. He has served a chief cantor in Bal Harbour, Florida, Montreal and Toronto.
