Workshop: Sugar Skull Felt Embroidery

Celebrate Dia de los Muertos by learning how to cut, arrange, and hand embroider a felt Sugar Skull. Participants will create a large Sugar Skull from felt, framed in a wooden embroidery hoop. Participants will receive instruction in class on how to cut out the pattern, how to cut the felt pieces needed, how to arrange them, and how to embroider them. No sewing experience required. (It’s simple stitches that are easy to learn!) Participants will leave with a completed large Sugar Skull and with a pattern for the class skull and a smaller skull along with an instruction sheet for future use.

Participants may bring needles, if they have a preference or any felt scraps if they want specific colors.
