Félix Colón is an award-winning Puerto Rican photographer with a career spanning over four decades, recognized for his transition from highly competitive photojournalism to intentional, narrative-driven landscape and travel photography.
Purchased his very first camera, launching his photography journey in 1977. Earned his first major recognition as a finalist in the global Kodak International Newspaper Snapshot Contest in 1980. Served as the Staff Photographer for Northern Light Magazine, the official publication at Misawa Air Base in Japan. Entered a highly competitive phase, earning over 124 photography awards by 1987. Since then, took time to rediscover the joy of photography.
Currently, specializes in travel and landscape photography, prioritizing slow, meaningful storytelling, environmental connection, and artistic intent.
