Originally from El Paso, TX, working in San Antonio, TX. Surreal and dream-like, heavy with symbolism and personal visual-metaphors. I create narratives that borrow from world mythology and folklore with a focus on Mexican and Aztec history. My aesthetic is influenced by graffiti art, cartooning and underground comix, as well as folk art and renaissance painting. I've shown my artwork in San Antonio, Austin and Italy. Live to create, create to live, leaving behind a trail of things I think are pretty cool, weird and fun that challenge the mind and eye.

In addition to being an artist, I'm an arts educator and have taught all ages from K-12, college level and adult classes. I'm currently an adjunct professor teaching drawing and printmaking at Northwest Vista College. And am scheduled to teach printmaking, painting and figure drawing at UTSA southwest campus in the summer.
