Bruce Wylie Jr. is a studio artist based out of the Westside of San Antonio. He uses both painting and photography for choice of concentration but considered himself Multidisciplinary. The work he makes deals with understanding what it means to the tenet of land or objects. He uses his Chicano based sensibility to view art as a form of awareness.  Bruce has an AA from San Antonio College, a BFA from Texas State University and is currently studying for his MFA in Painting at the University of Texas-San Antonio ( expected Spring of 2025)
