Working across multiple mediums, I am a photographer, poet, painter, and musician. In all my creative endeavors I aim to find new knowledge, using each mode of creation to articulate what can only be reached through the particular spaces they offer.

Based in San Antonio since 2013, I earned my MFA in creative writing from Old Dominion University in 1998 with a concentration in poetry, rhetoric, and critical theory. I hold a BA from Wichita State University. My career includes teaching English at the University of Houston-Downtown, writing and editing for industry trade magazines, and 16 years and counting as a commercial photographer in addition to my pursuits in the creative arts.
