ROM-COM AUTHOR, SCREENWRITER Taking inspiration from situations in life that are sad-but-funny, my expertise is crafting narratives about women who refuse to muddle in mediocrity. My writings defy the stereotype of women as coddling nurturers by championing females who put themselves first. My expertise is writing coming-of-age stories in fiction books and screenplays of women who bloom late in life, or who flower several times in a lifetime.  As a late and recurring bloomer myself, I favor female protagonists who do what they want – easier said than done when faced with social constructs. My artistic purpose is to motivate audiences to feel empowered to live and love by their own rules – not needing permission or approval from partners, friends, family, or coworkers by charting a path around social parameters.
