Robert Ziebell has been working in various photographic, film, and video media for over 35 years. His projects have included a series of still life photographs with vast landscapes as backdrops, a feature-length experimental film set in the ultra-flat Texas coastal plain, and an interactive virtual-reality documentary app for the iPad and iPhone that features the Mexican surrealist garden of Las Pozas. Collage, juxtaposition, and unexpected relationships between images have always been the underlying inspiration to his creative approach.
