Allee-Wallace - Native Texan Allee Wallace has held in focus a photography career that spans four decades.  Mr. Wallace spent two years as an artist-in-residence at the Southwest Craft Center and boasts memberships in several organizations, including: the Texas Photographic Society, Professional Photographers of San Antonio, and Luminous Printmakers Guild.  He was staff photographers for the Institute of Texan Cultures where he worked for sixteen and a half years.  He has also received an honorary doctorate for his work in Prison Music Ministry.

Born in Sugarland, Mr. Wallace was encouraged by his family to fuel his passion for picture-taking.  He embarked on a journey of storytelling through the camera lens, where his passion evolved into an artist's craft during his collegiate years at Texas Southern University.  He has proved as capable a soldier as a photographer as a laboratory technician in the U.S. Army.

With active participation in numerous photographic workshops cross-country, including an invitation to a California workshop hosted by the late Ansel Adams, came a sharper eye and a strengthening of skill.  Mr. Wallace's documented works encompass a vast range of human events and circumstances, including frames of then governor Bill Clinton at the National Baptist Convention in Arkansas, activities recorded during the annual San Antonio Martin Luther King March, and Bexar County Inmates' Interaction with Bexar County Detention Center Ministries.
