   Jorge Luis Gamboa VIII, a technologist, cultural anthropologist, and experience producer from San Antonio. With over two decades of diverse production experience across numerous roles and mediums. He values human experience as vital nourishment for the human soul. Following his passion for production his freelance career work includes Design, Maintenance and operation of video, sound, lighting production, direction, broadcasting, content creation, projection mapping, special effects, large-scale art installations, education, consulting, and organizational systems.

With a rich freelance career, Jorge Luis also dedicated ten years to PBS Austin, serving as a broadcast operations and audio engineer. During his tenure, he contributed to renowned productions like “Austin City Limits TV.” There he worked for celebrated artists such as John Prine, Sarah McLachlan, Juanes, The Pixies, The Killers, and many others, being credited for only a quarter of episodes he worked.
   
   Jorge Luis' artistic has been showcased as a two-time Featured Artist at the Luminaria Contemporary Art Festival. He is the founder of AlmaBurn, a regional Burning Man event, and a resident artist at Studio 111. Currently, he holds the position of Tech Manager at the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center. In this role, he oversees technology for various productions and manages the historic Guadalupe Theater. His notable technical direction credits include the Cine Festival, the Texas Conjunto Festival, and productions like “Carmen From Mexico,” “Nina Girasol,” and “Soy Malinztin.”
 
   In addition to his extensive career in the arts and production, Jorge owns and operates Cosmo Logic Co, a production agency that specializes in crafting bespoke experiences. Through his agency, he aims to elevate the endeavors of his clients, blending his vast experience and innovative approach to deliver exceptional results. He is also in the process of opening a bar in San Antonio with with his DJ father, called "Venami." in San Antonio's Westside.
