​I have a few different pathways into art-making that sometimes flow together and sometimes flow apart. My three major interests are physical structures, organic geometric patterns, and miniatures. As inspiration, physical structures often includes architecture and anatomy of various biologies. Organic geometric patterns happen all around us and suggest the possibility of mystery in the world. These patterns show up in the way plants grow and the minute particles of life accumulate. Miniatures, as seen in museum displays and such, are an endearing human tradition. In them I see a delicate sincere effort to express our human experience back to ourselves.
