Although always having a passion for the visual arts, I fully let my spirit free about three years ago. Around that time, I was officially diagnosed with CPTSD (complex post-traumatic stress disorder). Since being diagnosed, I have gained such wonderful insight from therapy and fully dove into my art to express my emotions and healing journey. I view each piece as a healing stone. Most of my work is representational to deep emotions and connections I’ve made within my soul, while other pieces are allowing my subconscious to speak to me since it has been misunderstood for so long by myself. Through the years of healing and understanding the impact of trauma with the body, my art has grown with me into a free form of emotional expression.
