Karla Kopalli and Megan Harrison are a multidisciplinary artist team committed to creating work that builds community, bridges nature and identity, and fosters a sense of belonging.

Karla has a Master of Arts in Public Art, RMIT University of Melbourne, Australia, 2006; a Master of Science in Biomimicry, Arizona State University, Tempe, AZ, 2020; a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Design, Universidad Iberoamericana, CDMX, Mexico, 2003, and studied sculpture at the Academia de San Carlos, Mexico. She has completed public art projects in Australia for the Melbourne City Council, in México for the National Center of the Arts, the National Commission for the Development of Indigenous Towns, and the National Security Commission. In the United States, she has created work for the Smithsonian Latino Museum, the National Museum of the American Indian in Washington, D.C., and the Witte Museum in San Antonio. TX.

Megan Harrison has a Bachelor of Arts from Metropolitan State University of Denver, 2008, and a Master of Arts from the University of Texas San Antonio, 2012. Her work has exhibited nationally and internationally, including works on permanent display at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, City Hall of San Antonio and Metropolitan State University of Denver. She was awarded a full fellowship at The Vermont Studios, 2015, and was selected by the Blue Star Contemporary for the Künstlerhaus Bethanien residency program in Berlin Germany, 2019 where she lived with her Husband and young son for 6 months. Locally she has participated in exhibitions at the McNay Art Museum and Art Pace and has had solo exhibitions at Sala Diaz and, most recently, Blue Star Contemporary.
