I was born in Los Angeles but I was lucky enough to have been raised in San Antonio since I was about 5. Though I was a troubled youth with a problematic home life, I found cathartic comfort in my stereo and TV. Since I was 10 I knew I wanted to sing and write to let out all my very big feelings. And by 14 I KNEW I just HAD to be a filmmaker so I could convey my love to movie, big feelings and creative mind. Beautiful life happened and I became a single mother of 4. I put them first, but I can't pour from an empty cup, so I decided I would start going after my dreams a little at a time. I sing now when there's a stage to ham up but I got the chance to be on a film set recently and realized again this is what I need to be doing.
