Dru Bergeron is an aspiring illustrator and graphic artist from San Antonio, Texas. Born in 1996  they were almost immediately drawn to the created worlds of Science Fiction & Fantasy films, novels, and video games. They began showing an interest in Art & History from a young age, studying ancient cultures and mythologies, fascinated by the relationship of mythological worldbuilding and the architecture of  ancient societies. Dru was fortunate enough to spend many hours of their youth in Art, History, Natural History, Science, and Cultural museums throughout the United States and France such as The McNay, The Smithsonian, and The Louvre. Making art was simply done for expressing the imagination for Dru until their highschool days when a desire to improve their technique and an ambition emerged, quickly moving from basic level art courses from a sophomore to college level classes in his senior year, Dru became a leading artist in his class. Gaining several awards in State art competitions, and top scores on their senior portfolio Dru was on track to study fine art at Baylor University. Unfortunately after spending a brief time at Baylor, complications with Type 1 Diabetes forced them to withdraw from university and return to San Antonio. Despite the constant battle of diabetes and pain of nerve damage Dru did not stop his passion of building fantastical worlds on paper, developing his unique style and techniques with various kinds of ink pens, markers, watercolor, and acrylic painting. Dru developed a relationship with the local San Antonio music community doing design work for musician groups, as well as showing their work with local art collectives and organizing their own exhibitions, collaborating with independent studios and local businesses.
