The UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures will host the 48th iteration of its signature event, the Texas Folklife Festival, gathering a myriad of Texan cultures in a celebration of their heritage, music, art, dance, food, artisan skills and more.
The three-day festival includes five stages of music and entertainment; more than 60 skilled artisans demonstrating crafts such as blacksmithing, wine making, and pottery; living historians portraying Texas pioneers, military and frontier folk; vendors selling hand-made Texas wares such as soaps, artwork and décor; and much more.
Dozens of food vendors prepare a menu teeming with authentic offerings such as German schnitzel, Filipino lumpia, Belgian mussels, Greek gyros, Lebanese shishkebabs, Wendish noodles, Romanian sausage and other delectable offerings.
Family-friendly with hands-on opportunities and audience participation.
