Maestoso

Presented by Curtain Up Cancer Foundation at Madison Square Presbyterian Church

Enjoy an evening of classical masterpieces in a one-night-only classical violin concert, "Maestoso."

The program includes Bach’s “Violin Concerto in A minor,” Monti’s “Czardas,” John Williams’ notable works from “Schindler’s List,” Amy Beach’s “Romance for Violin and Piano,” and Dean Marshall’s “Mountain Spring.” The event features international performer Ernest Sauceda on the violin and acclaimed musician Douglas Boldt on the piano.

Sauceda has performed at The White House, Kennedy Center, and Hollywood Bowl. This singing-and-dancing violinist has also held roles on the theater stage, and has performed with Disney Cruise Line and Universal Studios Japan.

The event is a fundraiser for the Curtain Up Cancer Foundation, a Texas nonprofit whose mission is to ease the effects of cancer through the creative arts.
