The timeless classic has made its way off the page and onto the stage.
Magik at the Empire presents The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, taking four of Eric Carle’s beloved stories to the stage. This will be a special extended run at the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre.
Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, this critically acclaimed production of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show features a menagerie of 75 lovable puppets, faithfully adapting four of Eric Carle’s stories, Brown Bear, Brown Bear, 10 Little Rubber Ducks, The Very Lonely Firefly and of course, the star of the show – The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
“As a mother of three young boys, I can’t imagine how many hours I’ve spent reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar. I’m eager for them to see their favorite story come to life onstage, especially through the magic of puppetry,” said Magik’s General Manager Shelley Weber.
Tickets range from $15-$30 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster.com by searching “Magik Theatre Presents: The Very Hungry Caterpillar” or in person at the Majestic Theatre Box Office.
