WeFlamenco Fest celebrates 10years with a flamenco performance that promises to be one of the top “must attend” events as San Antonio celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month.
WeFlamenco Fest celebrates 10 years. This mini festival includes a major performance at the Carver Community Cultural Center's, Jo Long Theatre, by the San Antonio Parks and Recreation Dance Program. This dance program celebrates 85 years, giving them the distinction of being the longest running municipal dance program in the entire country. The 10th anniversary performance will highlight flamenco dancers of THE NEW GENERATION and showcase what this program has achieved under the direction and tutelage of the many professional artists and teachers over the years. Dancers include La Sonya, La Isa, La Bela and Fandango San Antonio. Local favorite Steve Arispe on guitar.
