Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns & Mermaids opens September 28th and runs through January 12, 2020 at the Witte Museum.
Did dragons, unicorns and mermaids exist? The Witte Museum will host an innovative exhibition with a beautiful blend of reality and fantasy. Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns and Mermaidsexplores the science and history behind some of the world’s most popular imaginary creatures. Today, dragons, unicorns and mermaids are animating the landscape of children’s rooms, backpacks and toys; and terrifying adults as they stream epic adventures.
Mythic Creatures: Dragons, Unicorns and Mermaidsis a special traveling exhibition from the American Museum of Natural History. The exhibition is divided into four sections, an introductory section where visitors come face-to-face with a magnificent model of a 17-foot-long dragon and explore creatures of land, power, water and of course dragons.
