“A DAY IN SOUTHTOWN” is a FREE annual celebration of creativity and community! Events run from 9am – 10 pm! It’s an open house for you – the public!

WHO PARTICIPATES:

Southtown's five exceptional neighborhoods each host FREE events to compliment and celebrate who they are! Come out and enjoy a day in public spaces! Attend FREE art educational workshops and FREE open studio opportunities offered by the Districts many professional artists and local art nonprofits.  Explore museums, visit local galleries, shop among artisans, savor culinary eats, sample distillery drinks, enjoy mindful fitness, and have fun while supporting the local arts scene! Wrap things up and head into the evening at the Second Saturday Artwalk in the Lone Star neighborhood. We can’t wait to see you!

HOW TO GET AROUND People are encouraged to bus or bike bike, walk,  and even skate to events. An easy way to connect to everything is by utilizing our San Antonio waterways: the San Antonio River and Alazan Creek.
