October Free Second Sunday at the Institute of Texan Cultures:

Telling our stories has always been a way to preserve our history. Join us to discover a few different ways to do this!

Enjoy learning about Dia de los Muertos altars from UTSA Honors College students who are preparing an ofrenda for our exhibit floor. On our Back 40 living history area, visit with archaeologists as we celebrate Texas Archaeology Month.

Hands on activities, crafts and more! Free and open to the public.

Participants include: UTSA Honors College, UTSA Center for Archaeological Research, San Antonio Missions National Historical Park, City of San Antonio Office of Historic Preservation, TxDoT, San Antonio Conservation Society, Raba Kistner Consultants, San Antonio Museum of Art.
