The event is part of the fourth annual Monarch Butterfly and Pollinator Festival. A timely discussion of wide-reaching issues – from the state of the monarch butterfly migration and conservation of bats as pollinators to border issues, migration, immigration, and climate change. The panel will include monarch butterfly expert Dr. Dara Satterfield; National Public Radio border correspondent John Burnett; and the Bat Man of Mexico and Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México ecologist Dr. Rodrigo Medellín. Brendan Gibbons, environmental reporter for the Rivard Report, will moderate.
