Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these MAKERS to demonstrate hobbies and experiments.
We call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth - a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.

HOW IT ALL STARTED
Begun by librarian Caroline Mossing from Teen Services at the library, the organizing team has expanded to include staff from the DoSeum and help from other local makers.
The Faire could not take place without the generous support of the San Antonio Public Library Foundation and the serious work by San Antonio Public Library staff, the DoSeum crew, and community volunteers.
