The San Antonio Mastersingers present a FREE concert to celebrate the chorus’s 75th season. “Love Songs Through the Ages” spans several musical genres from past centuries through today. The concert is Sunday, February 23, 2020 at 3PM. The venue is the beautiful Watson Fine Arts Center on the campus of St. Philip’s College, 1801 Martin Luther King Drive, San Antonio.
The program features classical love songs by Brahms, hits by Cole Porter and Leonard Bernstein, madrigals, Broadway favorites and other contemporary works. Taking place shortly after Valentine’s Day celebrations, the chorus hopes to keep that ‘loving feeling’ alive.
Tickets are FREE, and the concert is a thank you gift from the San Antonio Mastersingers in celebration of their 75th Season. Tickets can be reserved online at samastersingers.org or at the door.
This concert is made possible in part by a generous grant from the RUSSELL HILL ROGERS FUND FOR THE ARTS.
