Each week this class will meet at a different San Antonio landmark and experiment with landscape painting in the most exciting way possible: on site!
Paint the town with Inspire! Starting in March, Inspire Community Fine Art Center will be offering an outdoor art class focused on discovering historical landmarks of San Antonio. Meet with fellow artists at a different location each week and discover the fun of bringing to life the many histories of San Antonio. Instructor Joanna Bolsins is a Texas-based artist who actively works in the community to broaden the positive impact of artwork within Texan culture. She focuses her work on the traditional medium of oil and acrylic paint to emphasize her love and reverence for buildings and the vast Texas landscape. Bring your paints, brushes, and supplies to the location provided each week. The first class will take place at the historic Pearl on March 8, 2020. Following that, the class will meet at the Alamo, the Main Plaza downtown, and Selena’s Bridge. Class fees cover the cost of the instruction and also help Inspire to offer art classes to organizations around San Antonio such as Eva’s Heroes and the Refugee Impact Center.
Ages 18+ recommended. All levels of experience welcome!
