Tune in at 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 26, 2020 for a virtual panel discussion about the Mexican American Civil Rights Movement. In between live music performances by Juan and Armando Tejeda, prominent activists will speak on topics that range from the impact of the U.S. Mexico War on Mexican American civil rights, to today's Dreamer movement. The event will begin with a welcome from District 3 Councilwoman Rebecca J. Viagran, followed by an introduction by Dr. Sarah Zenaida Gould.
