To Celebrate the Legacy of the Brackenridge Park Conservancy with a Once-in-a-Lifetime Drive-Thru Excursion through the Park
The Brackenridge Park Conservancy is proud to present “A Promenade Through the Park” on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The 2021 fundraising event will be a memorable, socially distanced driving excursion through Brackenridge Park. The one-time only event will begin in the parking lot of the Tuesday Musical Club, located at 3755 St. Mary’s, and head up towards the scenic trail of Alpine Drive and down through the famous Low Water Crossing, both of which are no longer open to the public.
The event will feature live entertainment from The Dirty River Jazz Band. These local musicians will energize patrons throughout the car lines while guests pick up their upscale pre-packaged gourmet picnic from The RK Group, to take home and dine at their leisure. After the drive-thru, guests will be encouraged to promenade through historic markers of the park, enjoying its sights and sounds, reflecting on the importance of Brackenridge Park to the community.
The fundraiser will benefit the work of the Brackenridge Park Conservancy to revitalize the 120-year-old historic Brackenridge Park.
Tickets are $350, comprised of two meals, per couple. For more information about sponsorship and corporate options, please contact the BPC at email@example.com or 210-826-1412.
