The Annual Collegiate Exhibit of student work, now in its 18th year at the San Antonio Art League and Museum, had to be postponed because of logistics and COVID. Instead, SAALM chose to honor the faculty members who inspire these young artists by presenting an online exhibition of their work. This showcase is our Contemporary Art Month featured exhibit.

As a way to honor the tireless work of art educators, we invited university and college faculty to submit works that display their personal approaches to art as expression. The works encompass painting, sculpture, photography, weaving, and mixed media; each an articulation of the artist’s views on culture, spirituality, psychology, community, and discovery.
