In Celebration of National Haiku Day, families are encouraged to write their own haiku in the garden, and in response to the exhibit – OrigamiintheGarden² - the folded metal origami sculptures of Jennifer and Kevin Box. Cranes, butterflies, boats, birds, and ponies – to inspire. Families will be able to leave their creations for San Antonio Botanical Garden to share with the artists.

At 10:00 am there will be a live reading of Haiku - Classic, Contemporary, and local by SA Poets: Linda Simone, Eddie Vega, Mobi Warren, and Jim LaVilla-Havelin
