The YOSA Philharmonic plays its first live concert in more than a year, featuring clarinetist Anthony McGill as guest soloist. The New York Philharmonic’s first African-American principal player, McGill will bring his “trademark brilliance, penetrating sound, and rich character” (New York Times) to the beloved Mozart Clarinet Concerto. The concert opens with irresistibly tuneful dances by Florence Price and closes with Ludwig van Beethoven’s energetic Eighth Symphony. Don’t miss the YOSA Philharmonic’s return to the Tobin Center stage for the first time since March 2020.
