Join program host Gabriel Quintero Velasquez and cultural anthropologist Maria Zentella, Ph.D. for an entertaining lesson on how the people of Bexar played a pivotal role in Mexico's struggle for independence from European rule. In observation of the continued Coronavirus crisis, Avenida's annual Dieciséis de Septiembre Parade remains postponed until a future date.
