Designed for ages 8-18, Picture Your World encourages a creative approach to digital photography. The program advocates a personal connection to nature and promotes environmental stewardship among youth.
Join Green Spaces Alliance and the Picture Your World Youth Photography Program at the Roosevelt Park Clubhouse on Sunday, February 13, 2022 from 1:00-4:00 pm for a nature photography workshop along the San Antonio River Mission Reach. The Mission Reach is a shining example of urban ecosystem restoration and presents a perfect opportunity to photograph the San Antonio River in a more natural landscape. Visitors to this section of trails enjoy native Texas grasses and wildflowers that help sustain our local wildlife. Picture Your World will provide cameras, photography instruction, along with an interpretive hike led by a Texas Master Naturalist to make the most of your educational experience.
