Designed for youth ages 8-18, Picture Your World encourages a creative approach to digital photography. The program advocates a personal connection to nature and promotes environmental stewardship among youth.
Join Green Spaces Alliance for the March Picture Your World Weekend Workshop at Government Canyon State Natural Area on Sunday, March 20 from 1:00 -4:00 pm. Located at 12861 Galm Road, Government Canyon is 12,000 acres of wilderness and karst preserve that protects the city’s drinking water. Participants will enjoy the abundance of wildlife and native plants as we photograph along the Discovery Trail. Picture Your World will provide cameras, photography instruction along with a guided hike with a Master Naturalist to make the most of your educational experience.
The cost is $10.00 per youth participant. Advanced registration is strongly preferred as space is limited. Fee waivers are available for students needing assistance.
