Designed for ages 8-18, Picture Your World encourages a creative approach to digital photography. The program advocates a personal connection to nature and promotes environmental stewardship among youth.
Join Green Spaces Alliance and the Picture Your World Youth Photography Program at the McNay Art Museum on Sunday, April 10 from 1:00 -4:00 pm as we photograph the museum’s newly designed grounds. A perfect setting to enjoy moments of surprise and beauty, the McNay’s new landscape features world class outdoor sculpture and garden paths with native plants and pollinators. Picture Your World will provide cameras, photography instruction along with a guided hike with a Master Naturalist to make the most of your educational experience.
The workshop fee is $10 per youth participant. Advanced registration is strongly preferred as space is limited. Fee waivers are available for students needing assistance.
