A celebration presenting the artworks from Southwest School of Arts and San Antonio art gallery Sala Diaz.
Southwest School of Art and Sala Diaz, in collaboration with Contemporary Art Month (CAM) San Antonio, present the 2022 CAM Perennial featuring works by 17 San Antonio-based artists. Selected by guest curator Lauren Cross, Program Coordinator & Assistant Professor of Interdisciplinary Art and Design Studies at the College of Visual Arts & Design, the exhibition celebrates the diverse and compelling artwork emerging from the region. CAM has partnered with Southwest School of Art and Sala Diaz, as well as Dorcól Distillery and Ay Papi’s food truck. The exhibition will be hosted in two venues - at Southwest School of Art and Sala Diaz - with a public kick-off on March 4, 2022 at Blue Star Contemporary featuring CAM Breakout Performances and a screening of local student work.
